Sue is an experienced human resource practitioner, with a sixteen-year track record in people management. She has worked in both strategic and operational roles in the public and private sectors, holding positions in training, human resource management and education in a variety of state, private and non-commercial organisations.

Prior to setting up her own training, consulting and coaching company, she spent five years with the Local Government Management Services Board, the national employers' body for the thirty-four local authorities, implementing 'best practice' strategic human resource management. This involved developing national policies and procedures through facilitating multi-disciplinary project teams. The teams developed and implemented stress management policies, anti-bullying guidelines, employee assistance programmes, pensions services procedures and equal opportunity policies. Sue also designed and delivered human resource management programmes for the 30,000 staff in the local authority system. During her time with the Board she also assisted with employment legislation difficulties and provided advice on the implications of new employment legislation.

While working with companies such as Aer Rianta, Dublin City University and the Institute for Children's Sport she became skilled in all areas of human resources, including recruitment and selection, training and development, employee relations and communication, performance management, reward management and personnel databases.

Sue has a strong educational background, educated up to Masters level. She has a M.Ed. from Sheffield University specialising in human resource management and a first class honours business studies degree, concentrating on personnel management from Trinity College Dublin. Sue is a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and provides career counselling for people going through a transition period in their professional lives. She is a regular contributor to the print media and the online media on human resource and career issues. For further details telephone Sue at 296 1578 or 087 9060 717.
